Restaurants Are Being Asked to Do More With Less

2 mins

Restaurant owners are dealing with rising costs everywhere: ingredients, packaging, labor, utilities, and the everyday expenses that come with keeping a business running. We recently saw the owner of Spice Waala share publicly how much some of these costs have increased, you can read it here. It was a reminder of something restaurant owners already know: every dollar matters.

At Tony Delivers, we’ve been having conversations with restaurant owners about how delivery can fit into that reality. And one thing has become clear to us: restaurants shouldn’t have to simply accept whatever delivery economics are handed to them. They should have more visibility, more flexibility, and more control over how they handle delivery.

That’s part of what we’re building at Tony Delivers. We want to give restaurants more control over the delivery process and the financial decisions around it while still creating opportunities for drivers and keeping delivery accessible for customers. The future of delivery shouldn’t just be about getting food from A to B. It should also make better business sense for the people making it possible.
